CMPC Maderas earns EcoVadis Gold Medal in its first sustainability assessment
CMPC Maderas has reached an outstanding milestone: in our first-ever participation in the EcoVadis assessment, we earned the Gold Medal, placing us within the top 5% of companies worldwide with the strongest sustainability performance.
Achieving this result on the first attempt highlights the maturity and robustness of our management systems, as well as our long-standing commitment to responsible practices across our entire operation. It reflects a solid and consistent foundation in how we manage our environmental, social, and ethical responsibilities.
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted platforms for assessing corporate sustainability performance. Its methodology evaluates 21 criteria across four key pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
Receiving the Gold Medal recognizes the coordinated work of our teams and the strength of the systems that support our operations. It also provides a clear view of opportunities for continuous improvement, ensuring steady progress toward responsible practices and alignment with leading global standards.
