On August 22, 23 and 24, 2024, the Mapocho Station Cultural Center in the city of Santiago was the setting for the Sodimac Great Training Fair, an event that brought together thousands of construction specialists to enrich their skills through talks, workshops and training given by industry experts.
In this context, Víctor Argomedo, Deputy National Sales Manager at CMPC Maderas, highlighted the importance of the connection between the company and the users of the product, particularly construction teachers. “We want to know what the master, the one who is going to use it definitively, thinks, what his idea is. That is the fun and interesting part,” Argomedo emphasized, underlining the importance of receiving direct feedback from people who love and work with wood.
During the fair, we had the opportunity to exhibit our range of innovative products, such as Thermotreated Wood, Impregnated Structural Wood and Impregnated Rolls, designed to optimize the efficiency and durability of any wood construction project. In addition, we carried out training focused on the proper use of Selex plywood in construction and furniture, providing professionals in the sector with practical tools and knowledge.
As Argomedo mentioned, the direct interaction with the attendees was invaluable. We were not only able to present our solutions, but also exchange ideas and perspectives with them, learning from their experiences and responding to their concerns.
